View Our Statement of Faith
The Holy Scriptures, as originally given by God, are divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and constitute the only supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh; we affirm his virgin birth, sinless humanity, divine miracles, vicarious and atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, ongoing mediatorial work, and personal return in power and glory.
The salvation of lost and sinful humanity is possible only through the merits of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, received by faith apart from works, and is characterized by regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit enables believers to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Church, the body of Christ, consists of all true believers.
Ultimately God will judge the living and the dead, those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
Meet Gregg Bryce
Gregg was born in Nigeria to missionary parents and began coming to Elim as a young boy. In his teens, he spent many summers working here, gaining experience in nearly every department! He presently serves at Elim as Executive Director (and in Pastoral Care).

Gregg holds a degree in History and Physical Education from McMaster University (1980), completed four years of Bible school at New Brunswick Bible Institute (1984), and earned his Master of Divinity from Tyndale University (formerly Ontario Theological Seminary) in 1989.
Gregg served on staff at The Peoples Church (Toronto) as Youth Pastor from 1984 to 1989. During that time, he married Patti (also an MK from Nigeria), and together they began their journey in missions, eventually serving in Bolivia with SIM from 1990 to 2003. Upon returning to Canada, Gregg served as the SIM Canada Director until 2012, at which point he was invited back to The Peoples Church as Executive Pastor of Administration. In 2018, Elim Lodge invited Gregg to return as Executive Director and to serve in pastoral care, building on years of previous leadership and ministry.
Gregg and Patti have four children: Stephen, Tim, Abbie (married to Tim Spadzinski), and Ethan. All of them have served at Elim at various times over the years.
Gregg’s greatest desire is to be faithful to the Christ he knows and loves—both in character and service—giving back to the people and organizations that have invested in him.
