CORE SUMMER STAFF
These individuals provide leadership within the Summer Staff team and are given extra responsibility for people, programs or operations. While their roles vary in the length of service and the types of responsibilities they carry, they all require greater leadership skills and experience than is expected of the Summer Staff.
KIDS PROGRAM DIRECTOR: Responsible to lead and direct Summer Staff to organize and teach daily lesson plans and run events for kids! Manage conflicts, help team members set and achieve goals, make and implement decisions, and enforce policies. Provide an excellent, quality program for kids as well as work towards future program improvement.
YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR: Co-direct a youth program responsible for planning, leading, and implementing core experiences for youth. Responsible for daily lesson plans and events for youth. Meet regularly with the director regarding concerns, updates and challenges. Fostering development, spiritual growth, and engage in relationships with students.
HEAD LIFEGUARD: Help in process of preparing and opening pools for the Summer Conference. Organizing schedules and enforcing policies. Directing a team of lifeguards. Meet with the director regarding updates and challenges.
MAINTENANCE: Prepping grounds and facilities for summer. Must be able to drive. Responsibilities include cleaning the beach, garbage, landscaping, etc.
