At The Lakeside Dining Room, you can enjoy a full and delicious chef-cooked meal while taking in the beautiful views of Pigeon Lake alongside our sandy beach. We are open to the public throughout the summer months of July and August (reservations are recommended). For the majority of the remaining year, we accept reservations for groups of 20 or more. Mark Loescher is a seasoned culinary expert with 45 years of experience and a Red Seal certification. Mark’s journey with Elim Lodge Christian Resort & Conference Center began over two decades ago. After a successful tenure, he ventured out to use his skills in a number of other venues, including the well-loved Mark’s Finer Diner. Having returned to Elim Lodge, Mark looks forward to finishing out his career here, bringing his wealth of expertise back to our kitchen.
Renowned for his homemade Hollandaise sauce for Eggs Benedict and his ability to run seven omelet pans simultaneously, Mark has a flair for creating memorable dining experiences. His specialties also include carving roast beef and preparing homemade Yorkshire puddings. Mark is dedicated to offering high-quality, fresh food, and is excited to reintroduce Elim’s beloved buffet, ensuring each meal is a great experience for our guests.
The Snackery is a rustic and charming wooden building located at the heart of Elim. There, you’ll find a mouth-watering selection of classic campground favorites such as burgers, hot dogs, fresh snack wraps, fries, and poutine, all prepared to order. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite on the go or a very casual sit-down meal, The Snackery has got you covered.
