Luke Langman

Luke Langman lives and breathes the family farm with Heidi and four junior farmers. He is
equally passionate about Christian music and the impact it has on people.
After travelling on a missions trip to Honduras for a one-year internship with World Vision
where he worked with rural farmers, his passion for music kicked in.
His first album was “My Song and My Salvation” which he recorded himself, with $200 worth
of equipment in a spare room. From his EP “Change The World” was quickly added on Christian
radio across Canada.
In 2008 Luke released his 2nd full length album “Over the Sun” which was nominated for a GMA
Canada Covenant Award for Rock Album of the Year and received radio airplay across Canada.
He has been featured on 100 Huntley Street and was the support act for Lincoln Brewster at the
LIFE 100.3 tenth anniversary party.
Luke’s 2014 release was “Something Real”. All eleven songs were written by Luke and produced
by Carmon Barry (Allen Froese, Toronto Mass Choir, 3 Junos, American Gold Record) “Joy”,
“In The Shadow of the Cross”, “Something Real”, “Unsearchable” and “Wonders of Our God”
have been released as singles.
A contemporary version of “Silent Night” was produced by Marcel Preston and released to
Christian radio in 2015. It was nominated for Seasonal Song of the Year and “Unsearchable”
was nominated for Rock Song of the Year at the 2016 Covenant Awards.
On April 24, 2017, “Bridges” was released as a single. It was written by Luke and produced by
Marcel Preston, and accompanied by a music video directed by Terry Molinaro. The song was
nominated for a Covenant Award by the Gospel Music Association of Canada.
On July 19, 2017, “Come and See” was released as a single, with an accompanying lyric video.
In 2018, Luke was nominated for Gospel Song of the Year by the Canadian Gospel Association
for “The Gospel Medley”, produced by Andrew Horrocks.
“Every Word You Say” was released on February 1, 2019. Brian Doerksen provided lead vocals
on the chorus. The song was produced by Marcel Preston.
“Can’t Escape” was released July 1, 2019, co-written with Ian Eskelin, Barry Weeks and Scott
Jackson and recorded in Nashville by Eskelin. The follow-up single “Beyond” was released on
January 1, 2020.
The album “Words I Left Unsaid” was released August 17, 2019. It is a compilation of all the
radio singles as well as both Christmas songs released since “Something Real” in 2014.
At the 2020 Covenant Awards held online due to Covid 19. Luke’s songs were nominated for
three awards – Inspirational Song of the Year for “Every Word You Say”, Pop Song of the Year
for “Can’t Escape” and Seasonal Song of the Year for “Let’s Go Christmas Caroling.”
Luke Langman is managed by Scott Jackson, the Founder and President Emeritus of LIFE 100.3
in Barrie.
Luke continues to lead worship at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church in Wasaga Beach, is
father of four and married to Heidi.
