Articles of Faith & Doctrine

1. The Divine Inspiration, Authority, and Sufficiency of the Holy Scriptures. (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:21)

2. That God eternally subsists in three divine persons, The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost. (Matt. 28:19; John 1:1-3; Gen. 1:1,2; Prov. 8:22-31; John 14: 25-26)
That the Lord Jesus Christ came into the world, conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary. That He was manifest in the flesh. (Matt. 1:20,21; 1 Tim 3:16)

3. That the death of the Lord Jesus Christ was a sacrifice to God and a propitiation for the remission of sins. (Rom. 3:25; 4:25; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 9:24-28; 10:12-14)

4. That He ascended to the right hand of God to be a Prince and a Saviour. (Acts 5:31). A Great High Priest of His people. (Heb. 4:14-16). An Advocate with the Father for His people. (1 John 2:1).

5. That the Lord Jesus Christ will personally return for His saints. (1 Thess. 4:14-18; John 14:3). Then shall follow the great tribulation and immediately after shall the Lord come to set up His Kindgom on earth. (Matt. 24: 29-31; Zech. 14:3, 4, 9)

6. That man was created sinless (Gen. 1:27) but sinned in disobeying God, and the sentence of death was passed upon him. (Gen. Chapter 3)

7. That all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. (Rom. 3:23)

8. That man must be born again or never see the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

9. That here is only one Saviour, whereby we must be saved. (Acts. 4:12; John 14:6)

10. That we have redemption through His (Jesus) blood. (Eph. 1:7). That the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)

11. That all who die unsaved will stand before the great White Throne to be judged for their sins, and will spend eternity in the lake of fire. (Rev. 20: 10-15)

12. The personality of the Adversary who is also called the Devil and satan. (1 Pet. 5:8; Rev. 20:2)

13. That “The Church” which is the Body, Christ being the risen, exalted Head of the Church is composed of all true believers in Him. (Matt. 16: 16-18; 1 Cor. 12:12-18; 1

14. That all believers are baptized by the Holy Ghost into the Body of Christ, once and forever, (1 Cor. 12:13; John 14:16) and the eternal security of the believer. (John 10: 28.29)
